Narkel diye 6olar Daal- Split Bengal Gram with scrambled coconut This is a very popular recipe of Bengali.

Here I use scrambled coconut instead of coconut pieces- especially for the youngest to oldest member of the house First, heat some amount of water in a pressure cooker In this, give 200 grams of split Bengal gram/6olar daal (well washed, strained out water) Now break 2 green chilies into small pieces with hand and put into pressure cooker Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder Mix all well Cover the cooker with lid Flame to medium and wait for 6-7 whistles Once the pulse is boiled, put the Dal/pulse and boiled water in separate bowl On the other hand, add 1 tsp of white oil and 1 tsp of ghee to the pan When the ghee is melted, add 1 medium potato pieces (with 1 pinch of salt and 1 pinch of turmeric powder) Make a medium flame Keep it in a separate bowl after frying. Then, in the remaining oil, give 2 bay leaves ½ tsp whole cumin seeds Reduce the flame and fry it with 2 tbsp of scrambled coconut Now give boiled pulse Give fried potato pieces Give ½ tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar Give the boiled pulse-water Now cover on medium heat Turn off the gas when the pulses are thick Finally, add dry roasted spices powder (¼ tsp whole cumin seeds, ½ stick cinnamon, 2 green cardamom) 1 tsp of ghee and move If you like this , please share it and subscribe my channel and give your comments.
