From our home in Adelaide… …we headed out to a small camping ground… …at Coles Crossing. Coles Crossing is beside the Finniss River. It is also near the Cox Scrub Conservation Park. [Active Daddy:] Do you think this is a good place to go camping Shae? [Shae:] Yeah. [Shae:] We’ve just got here. It was a half an hour drive. Incorrect It was over an hour [Shae:] …and it’s in the hills. Incorrect It was well past the Adelaide Hills [Shae:] Yeah and it’s all awesome! [Shae:] We also got… wait… two… Two of these. To go standing… for um… Fire to go in here. And we’ve already collected lots of rocks. And then… Here’s a rock here. [Active Daddy:] Okay, excellent. Alright guys I think we need to start getting our tent setup. [Active Daddy:] Let’s set it up right there. [Active Daddy:] That’s it. Okay come around. I really, really, really want w… Campire Safety Rules Make the campfire area a play exclusion zone. Never leave your campfire unattended. Always ensure children have adult supervision. Make sure your campfire is made well away from your tent, trees and other fuel sources. Use stones to ring your campfire if possible. Make sure all tripping hazards are removed from around the campire. Only have a campfire when allowed by the authorities. Bring your own firewood whenever possible. Have water at the ready incase of an emergency. Always use water to put your fire out when it’s time to leave. [ Breaking Glass ] [Shae:] Whoa. Oh my gosh. Ouch. [Jake:] Oh my goodness. [Shae:] Ouch. They have a very painful sting! [Shae:] I saw one go back in. [ Kookaburra Laughing ] [Aden:] I love kangaroos, and they’re my favorite. [Jake:] It’s going to me. [Aden:] Jake, step back. [Shae:] Don’t go close, don’t pick it up! [Aden:] This is a red headed mouse spider. They are considered very dangerous! [ Laughing ] [Active Daddy:] Okay come on down guys.
