Floating fast food? Astronauts tuck into space burgers

Ever wondered what life is like in Space? Well, for these NASA astronauts it can be
pretty similar to life on Earth. Ultra high resolution video has been released
showing space life through a remarkably clear lens. And yes – it appears astronauts eat burgers
too! That’s American Terry Virts showing us how
to prepare – and eat – a ‘space burger’. NASA’s new and improved video resolution will enable researchers to gain new insight into
the experiments performed aboard the space station. But perhaps more exciting to the senses are
the stunning views of Earth captured by this new technology – giving a glimpse of what
it’s like to look down at Earth from above. The three astronauts seen here ended their
199-day mission after an unexpected “bonus month” aboard the International Space Station. Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, Italian
Samantha Cristoforetti and American Terry Virts, were the trio who made it back to Earth. Having tested out the new UHD video, some
of the memories from their mission in space will be chronicled with clarity never seen
before.
